2000 PRYCA Change of Watch

Over 200 people attended the event and 15 Clubs as well as CBYCA were represented. Steve Wexler was Master of Ceremonies and had a few comments on the recent political events. He says this was his last year doing this, but no one believes him.

Yo - Yo..Listen up!!!
Let me tell you the schedule of PRYCA -
That your Bridge has put together for your pleasure and your play
The events they have planned - they're all really neat -
Starting in May with the Blessing of the Fleet
In the middle of July - we'll all be out there boatin
We can party and compete at this year's annual Float-in
Moving on to August - when the weather's hot with haze
Colonial Beach will be the destination for Dog Days
As the boating season dwindles it always is a bummer
Lessened by the party at Tantallon's End of Summer
With good fortune and calm seas and a little bit of chance
We'll all be here next year at this Change of Watch Dance.
And that's PRYCA's Year in Review

Is this really his last year as Master of Ceremonies?

No caption I could write could adequately explain this picture. Is that the new Commodore?

The crowd was there from Chesapeake Yacht Club

Along with Prince William Yacht Club
