The 1998 Float-In is history now and we have a new winner for the 1998 PRYCA Cup -- National Potomac Yacht Club. Congratulations!
The big event of the Float-In was the cardboard boat building contest. Each club was given two large sheets of cardboard, tape, a knife and plastic wrap. From this, they were to make a boat and paddle it between two of the docks.
Occoquan Yacht Club had a good time constructing their boat.

Which was complete with motor, anchor and ice maker.

Defending champs OYC, were the first to launch their boat. PRYCA Commodore Steve Donock "volunteered" his son David to make the maiden voyage.

He made it, as did Aquia Harbour.

The Cobb Island/Landmark was the most interesting of the boats for obvious reasons.

Prince William had a good entry.

And the 1998 Champs, National Potomac arrived in style.
